Yes, but what? Shouldn’t it be something important, to break the great silence? I can’t spend my first tumblr post on something worthless, like, uh, memes. Not that memes are worthless. But you know what I mean. And besides, tumblr’s so *scary* to post on. What will happen to my post? Where will it go? Will it influence my feed tremendously for months to come? Will it end up in front of Jeff Bezos and become a major influence in the next revolution? Or will it fall into the abyss, to be dredged up by fishing trawler years later, found covered in rust and time? I cannot know, and that scares me.
I know that I’ll probably end up posting something eventually, and it probably won’t be worth the hype I gave it in my head. But until then I’ll push off posting, and leave my tumblr quiet, I guess.
